I've wanted to read Go Ask Alice for ages and ages - for the controversy surrounding its authorship and authenticity alone - but I hope I'll get a lot out of it too. Where She Went is the sequel to If I Stay, which I read a while ago. I enjoyed it at the time and was desperate to read the sequel, but my tastes have changed rather a lot since then so I hope I'll still enjoy it.

Tudor: the Family Story by Leandra de Lisle 

I know, I know... I don't think it's physically possible for me to do an Amazon order without adding in at least one Tudor-themed historical fiction. The one on the left is actually more of a history textbook, as it tells the story of the Tudor family without any fictionalisation - I got it because even though I own numerous novels on the period I'm still not always sure of who everyone is, so hopefully this will clear things up for me in a comprehensive and enjoyable format.

More Tudor historical fiction, yes I know. Unfortunately I think Mary, Bloody Mary is aimed at a younger age bracket and actually a little simply written for me, but I'll give it a go anyway and it'll be a quick read. I got Ophelia by Lisa Klein almost as a joke, as I've been reading Hamlet in my advanced English class this year, and I was idly googling it when this book came up. I love the idea of telling Ophelia's story, but I have my doubts as to how accurate it will be in relation to the rest of the play.

Well. This is a bit different, isn't it? Yes and no, because I actually love Gothic horror as a genre and I'm planning on writing an extended essay on it for my advanced English class. I'm going to focus on Dracula, but also look at Carmilla and The Vampyre as examples of earlier vampire literature - and of course I'll probably read the other stories in this book too.

I've been watching Tanya Burr's youtube channel for years now, and I was just about to finalise my Amazon order when I spotted this as a suggestion. Of course I've heard all about her book and watched her launch vlog, but this was a complete whim of a buy as I never planned on getting it. It was only £6 something, which is pretty good for what it is as a physical book (a hefty hardback tome with glossy pages), but I feel like the low price might say more about the contents than anything else. In a similar way to Alexa Chung's It I'm going to be keeping my expectations low with this one in terms of  content, but I hope I might be pleasantly surprised.

Grace's Guide: the Art of Pretending to be a Grown Up by Grace Helbig

Another youtuber book, and I'm a bit late to the party with this one. I adore Grace Helbig and I was pleased to see her book has had mostly five star reviews on Amazon - I'm sensing it will have less of a focus on beauty than Tanya's and more comedy, which I'm all for.

The Breakfast Club

Originally I was only looking to get Clueless, but this triple set of DVDs was actually cheaper than the individual DVD - I've seen Mean Girls, but it's such a teen classic I felt a need to own it too. I've wanted to see The Breakfast Club for a long time, and I'm planning to watch it with my friends next week!

That's all I got this time - there might not be any more hauls for a while as I'm really trying to avoid buying new books, haha.
